Godzilla vs Kong: Director assures of Massive Destruction!
Godzilla franchise has come a long way since its original Japanese beginnings. The upcoming movie in the franchise Godzilla vs Kong has excited fans globally. The fight between two ferocious monsters is enough to terrorize the audience. Godzilla getting to fight a worthy enemy in form of Kong is sufficient to make a film successful.
The word Godzilla itself is derived from the Japanese word ‘Gojira’.Gojira itself is further made of two Japanese words for gorilla and whale indicating a powerful amphibious creature. Its manifestation in the modern world is attributed to the detonation of atomic bombs over Japan which released enough energy to wake this ancient creature.
The upcoming Godzilla vs Kong will be directed by Adam Wingard. The story is developed by Terry Rosio, Michael Dougherty, and Zach Shields.
What has director Adam Wingard revealed about the movie?
Adam Wingard on Instagram announced that Godzilla vs Kong was given a PG-13 for its violent action and destruction sequences. But he also called this an understatement. He hints that the movie has much more to offer than this numerical ratings can describe.
Well, if what the director says is true, the film will offer massive levels of destruction.
Adam had revealed back in 2017 about his opinion on the fight between Godzilla and Kong. He wanted that this fight should have a clear winner but did not hint who would be the winner. Adam added “I do want there to be a winner. The original film was very fun, but you feel a little let down that the movie doesn’t take a definitive stance. People are still debating now who won in that original movie, you know. So, I do want people to walk away from this film feeling like, Okay, there is a winner”.

The movie is set to release on 20 November 2020. But with the world still recovering from the effects of the pandemic, the movie may get delayed. It is also possible that the delay might force an online release only.
