Great Expectations Plot and Cast
The novel Great Expectations, which is written by Charles Dickens, follows the life of an orphan Pip. He has been residing with his sister Mrs. Joe and her husband Joe, who is a blacksmith. Pip then meets Magwitch, who is a convict, and he threatens Pip by telling him to steal food and a metal file. Although Pip is captured, the convict takes the blame. What happens next will be featured in the show.

Great Expectations Release Date
In May 2020, it was officially announced that Steven Knight would develop a television series adaptation of the Charles Dickens novel in collaboration between the BBC and FX, his second after 2019’s A Christmas Carol. The casting was announced in February 2022.
The filming for the show has begun in March 2022, with production taking place at Buckler’s Hard, Hampshire on March 30. The makers have not revealed any specific release date for Great Expectations yet.
