Hernán Plot and Cast

The makers of Hernán have not revealed a lot of details about the plot of Season 2. However, it is expected to continue from where Season 1 ended.

It is focused on the conquest of continental America and the meeting of two civilizations led by Captain Hernán Cortes. Throughout the show, viewers discover the story of Cortes and explain how the conquest of an entire continent was shaped by his character and charisma.

It is the first Spanish language series distributed by A+E, adding to which they said that it is a continued period of growth in the international scripted co-production and foreign-language space across many territories, cultures, and languages.

Coming to the cast, the lead actors of Season 1 are expected to reprise their roles in Season 2. The cast members of the first season include Oscar Jaenada, Dagoberto Gama, Ishbel Bautista, Jorge Antonio Guerrero, Mitzi Mabel Cadena, Michel Brown, Victor Clavijo, Almagro San Miguel, Miguel Angel Amor, and Isabel Luna.

The release date for Hernán Season 2 has not been revealed yet by the makers. Filming for the second season started in January 2020, and considering that, Season 2 should be released sometime in 2023.
