Homeworld has been one of the most successful game franchises until now. It has released a lot of installments and the second installment came out in 2003. Until then, gamers have been eagerly waiting for the release of Homeworld 3. However, the development has been stalled for a long time for different reasons but now the game is scheduled to arrive soon on different platforms.

Homeworld 3 has been under development since 2017 and a crowdfunding campaign was launched by 2019. This was aimed to find the most entertaining elements of the previous installments. Although the game’s development started at a rapid pace, the release was delayed to 2023 and now after another delay, the game is confirmed to arrive in 2024.

Homeworld 3 is already in the headlines and gamers want to play it as soon as possible on their respective platforms. To increase the excitement among the gamers, the developers have released an extended gameplay trailer a year ago followed by the reveal trailer a month ago.

For now, it is confirmed that the world of Homeworld 3 will be set in 3D. The developers are not making a lot of changes but for nowm they have not revealed all the details related to the gameplay.

Solo playing mode will be added for the gamers along with the combat gameplay which will bring more thrill. A lot of megaliths and trenches are being added alongside huge structures for the convenience of the gamers, and it will be launched with a new co-op mode which will bring a new experience for everyone.

The main premise is set many years after the events of the previous installment. Karan S’Jet has already opened a hyperspace gate network in the galaxy which led to an entry towards the Age of S jet. This refers to an era of galactic trading and development but while opening the gates, Karan disappeared and a scourge called The Anomaly began to spread throughout the galaxy.

The Anomaly has led to a dark world in the entire universe and threatens the existence of the sentient beings. Imogen S’jet is the only one who can save the galaxy now.
