Created by David Weil, Hunters is an American conspiracy drama streaming television series, that follows a diverse band of Nazi hunters living in 1977 New York City. On May 17, 2018, it was announced that Amazon Video had given the production a straight-to-series order for a first season consisting of ten episodes.

Weil is also the executive producer alongside Jordan Peele, Tom Lesinski, Jenna Santoianni, and Win Rosenfeld. The first season of the series premiered on February 21, 2020, and on August 3, 2020, Amazon renewed the series for a second season.

Hunters Plot and Cast

Considering what happened at the end of Season 1, Season 2 will focus primarily on clashes between Jonah’s Hunters and Millie’s task force. We’d also expect to get some answers about Sister Harriet’s suspect loyalty, as well as Adolf Hitler’s surprise cameo in the season one finale.

The cast members of Season 1 are expected to reprise their roles. This includes Logan Lerman, Jerrika Hinton, Lena Olin, Saul Rubinek, Carol Kane, Josh Radnor, Greg Austin, Tiffany Boone, Louis Ozawa, Kate Mulvany, and Dylan Baker.

Hunters Season 2 Release Date

The first season of Hunters was released on 21st February 2020 and was renewed in August 2021 for a second season. However, the pandemic delayed the start of production, and filming was rescheduled to start in the autumn of 2021.

Considering everything, the second season should arrive by the end of 2022. The upcoming season might consist of ten episodes like the first season and the rest of the details shall be revealed soon.
