Invincible Season 3: Release Date, Cast, and more!

Created by Robert Kirkman, Invincible is an adult animated superhero series, based on the Image Comics series of the same name. Kirkman is also the executive producer alongside Simon Racioppa, David Alpert, Catherine Winder, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg.

The first season of the series premiered on March 25, 2021 and received positive reviews from critics and audiences. It currently holds an approval rating of 98% on Rotten Tomatoes. Considering the decent feedback, the makers have renewed the series for a second and third season.

Invincible Plot and Cast

The makers have not revealed a lot of details about the plot of Invincible Season 3. However, the third season will definitely continue from where Season 2 will end.

For now, there have been no news on the development of Season 2 and the creators have also not disclosed a lot of information about it. The plot of the third season will be entirely dependent on what would happen in Season 2. Towards the end of Season 1, Omni-Man has detroyed his whole family and he might return with the Viltrumites to take over Earth.

Meanwhile, Cecil asks Mark to take his father’s place as Earth’s champion and Mark has not agreed to it until now. Mark also plans to finish high school but this might be tricky as threats are coming on his way. Mark’s relationship with Amber is getting better, although it is unknown for how long this would last.

For now, we can expect that all the lead cast members would return in Season 3, although it remains to be seen if any character gets killed in the second season. The main cast members of the show include Steven Yeun, Sandra Oh, J.K. Simmons, Atom Eve, Walton Goggins, Zazie Beetz, Kevin Michael Richardson and Mark Hamill.

Invincible Season 3 Release Date

Since Invincible is an animated show, the making won’t take much time. The second season is expected to premiere in 2022 according to online reports and considering that, the third season should release by 2023.

The third season might consist of eight episodes like the first season. The makers are expected to reveal further details about the third season in the next few months.
