Ironheart Plot and Cast
Ironheart will focus on Riri Williams, a brilliant Black girl inventor who creates a high-tech metal suit like Iron Man’s. Right now, there are no solid details about the show. However, in her initial comic run, Williams was a 15-year-old hailing from Chicago who scored an MIT engineering scholarship.
She eventually finds herself caught up in this universe’s superhero shenanigans after she uses some materials she swiped from campus to make her own iron suit. There will already be an established relationship with Shuri from the Black Panther sequel. It’s pretty likely that this character will show up in Ironheart in some capacity.
Coming to the cast, the actors that have been confirmed to appear include Dominique Thorne, Anthony Ramos, Harper Anthony, Manny Montana, Alden Ehrenreich, and Lyric Ross. Further details are expected to be revealed soon.
Ironheart Release Date
Ironheart was announced back in 2020 and Hodge was hired in April 2021 with cast members being revealed in April 2022. Filming started in June 2022 and will be concluded in October 2022.
The brand-new show is scheduled to premiere in 2024 and is confirmed to have six episodes. It is produced by Marvel Studios, Proximity Media, and 20th Television.
