“When heroes alone are not enough, the world needs legends”
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is up for it’s new season, CW confirmed the same. After five successful series, the show has stepped up a bit and decided to add more thrill to it. The series is developed by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg, and Phil Klemmer, who also act as the executive producers along with Sarah Schechter and Chris Fedak; Klemmer and Fedak serve as showrunners. The show just got over with the season 5 this year, and CW immediately renewed with the sixth season and is predicted to be released in the year 2021, delayed due to the pandemic.
The story revolves around Time-travelling rogue Rip Hunter who has to recruit a rag-tag team of heroes and villains to help prevent an apocalypse that could impact not only Earth but all of the time. Last time, their mission was to stop history’s greatest villains, whom they dubbed the Encores, unleashed from Hell to wreak havoc throughout the timeline.

It also delivered tons of bizarre moments, especially the TV-centric episode “The One Where We’re Trapped On TV” which showed honor to the famous TV series such as Friends, Downton Abbey, and Star Trek. Legends of Tomorrow’s season 5 finale was titled “Swan Thong” and guest-starred the rapper, Sisqo.
The executive producers are assuring that the sixth season is mapped out and promise that the story won’t be hampered, unlike the other shows. But since the shooting is not yet started, they can’t announce any official date as of yet.
Well, it is heard that season 6 will see new faces and might form a new team. It is said that a new female hero will join the Legends. This mystery addition is described as “a woman who was abducted by aliens as a child and supposedly imbued with powers either that or she’s just crazy.” Whoever this new member of the Legends of Tomorrow in season 6 will be, it sounds like she’ll fit right in aboard the Waverider.
