Los Espookys is an American comedy television series. Julio Torres, Ana Fabrega, and Fred Armisen created this tv series. They also star in this show alongside Bernardo Velasco and Cassandra Ciangherotti. This series follows a group of friends  who are ttrying to turn their love of horror into a successful business. It’s where most of their jobs consist of fabricating horror film-like situations and trick people into thinking they are real. Los Espookys premiered on June 14, 2019, on HBO.

WHAT IS LOS ESPOOKYS ABOUT?

According to Google, “A primarily Spanish-language comedy (with English subtitles), the series follows the adventures of Renaldo, a horror and gore enthusiast who forms a unique business that conjures thrills and chills for a variety of clients. Joining Renaldo in his eerie enterprise are friends Úrsula, who handles the logistics and execution of Los Espookys’ projects; Úrsula’s sister, Tati, who juggles odd jobs while acting as the group’s test dummy; and Andrés, the brooding heir to a chocolate empire who longs to unlock the secrets to his past. Recurring guest star Fred Armisen portrays Tico, Renaldo’s benign, beloved uncle, who happily lives his own career dream as a parking-valet legend in Los Angeles.” 

WHAT’S THE CAST FOR LOS ESPOOKYS?

In this series, we see Bernardo Velasco act as Renaldo who is a horror and gore enthusiast who assembles his friends to form Los Espookys. Another character is, Julio Torres who depicts Andrés who is Renaldo’s best friend since childhood and the adopted heir to a chocolate empire. We also see  Cassandra Ciangherotti in this show as Úrsula who in turn is a friend of Renaldo. Ana Fabrega portrays the role of Tati and Fred Armisen portrays the role of Tico.

WHEN IS SEASON 2 OF LOS ESPOKYS RELEASING?

The series was renewed for a second season in July 2019. The exact release date has not been released as of now but do not expect the show to air before 2021.
