Players can compete with 68 riders from both MXGP and MX2 categories on the 19 circuits of the 2020 season.
Players start as a rookie who can choose their path to greatness by either joining an official team or starting from scratch and building their own team.
Maps
If the official MXGP maps weren’t enough for you, then the Track Editor is back, packed with new features. Thanks to the Heightmaps feature, players can replicate the real MX tracks configurations, which are often built on hills and mountains, which adds realism and all the challenges that real riders face during races.
There are 4 different terrain types of maps that players can choose from and customize – Plain, Quarry, Vineyard, and Forest – to create the track of their dreams. All-new tracks created by players can be shared online with friends.
Online features
For free-roam enthusiasts, the Playground returns in MXGP 2020, and players can tackle it solo or with friends. Players can test their riding skills in the new setting inspired to Norwegian fjords terrains, and this year they can also free ride together with up to 3 friends and to create more fun in the Playground, the beloved Waypoint mode returns, now allowing races up to 4 players.
MXGP 2020 multiplayer mode comes with dedicated servers, which provides a lag-free gameplay experience and Race Director Mode to create amazing Online tournaments, deciding starting positions, assigning penalties, or choosing the cameras to focus on.
Last but not least, players will be able to make their rides truly unique with more than 10,000 items, all officially licensed from more than 110 brands from the Motocross World. Not only cosmetic customizations: bike performances can be also improved with a real-life replica of different bike parts.
So all you gear heads out there, get ready for MXGP 2020 as it drops on December 10th.
