Hello, Readers! Remy Ma has signed on to host VH1’s new series My True Crime Story, which tells the stories of regular people caught up in high-profile crimes. The rapper will host and narrate the eight-episode season, which will be produced for the network by Hot Snakes Media.
Remy Ma adds spice to her job by providing amusing commentary throughout the stories. Each testimony will be bolstered by interviews with family members, friends, law enforcement, and historical material.
Outside of music and television, Remy Ma has utilized her platforms to advocate for prison reform since her release. My True Crime Story is another way for the Bronx-born musician to bring attention to crime stories and the people who perpetrate them. What is this about?
According to the show’s bio, the crime series will look at some of the “most headline-making crimes” and “their rise, fall, and redemption.” Cases involving million-dollar jeweler heists, bank robberies, and drug trafficking, among other terrible crimes, can be expected to take viewers on a jolting trip.
Remy Ma, a rapper and actress, will host the event. She is a veteran Hip Hop recording artist in addition to being a television star. Her studio album There’s Something About Remy: Based on a True Story was published in 2006. In 2017, she collaborated with Fat Joe on the album Plata O Plomo, which had the Top 40 smash “All the Way Up,” which featured French Montana.
