Pen15 (Season 2) is coming soon! After a successful first season, the show is returning for another one. Fans must be excited! However, there is also some sad news in store. This will be the second as well as last season of Pen15.The creators of the show Maya Erskine and Anna Konkle feel that the story they wanted to tell will come to an end in the upcoming season. Still, in stead of feeling disappointed, we should look forward to what this new season has in store for us! There is also the possibility for the show to expand more later on, according to Hulu reps. The show was a critical and fan hit, and also received an Emmy Nomination. Pen15 (Season 2): Plot and Cast

The synopsis for Pen15’s new season can be summarized as follows, taken from Variety:

“Season 2 kicks off innocently enough, as Maya and Anna head to a friend’s pool party in the hopes of sorting out their respective romantic entanglements. It’s only a few days after the dance, when they were both “felt up” by Brandt (which, it must be said, is an epically douchey boy’s name), and Maya still hopes to salvage a relationship with the apathetic young man. Anna is more concerned with shutting things down for good with Gabe (Dylan Gage), and the shared doom of each mission only brings the two closer together.”

Thus we can see that season two will one again be a brutally honest portrayal of teenage life. We will watch our protagonists face all the highs and lows of being a young adult. It is therefore both a fun and a touching show.

As for the cast, Erskine and Konkle will be returning as teenage versions of themselves. They are the lead cast of the show.
