On September 22, 2020, Starz renewed the series for a second season which premiered on November 21, 2021. On December 7, 2021, Starz renewed the series for a third season. It received positive reviews from critics and has been rated 7.1/10 on IMDb.

Power Book II: Ghost Plot and Cast

The makers have not revealed much about the plot of Power Book II: Ghost Season 3. However, it is expected to continue from where Season 2 ended. The second season focused on Tariq after the murder of Jabari Reynolds in Season 1. Although he beat the case, he is being investigated for Mecca’s death. The makers hinted at what would happen with Monet Tejada, who was devastated to find out that Zeke Cross had been killed.

The basic premise follows Tariq navigating his new life, in which his desire to shed his father’s legacy comes up against the mounting pressure to save his family. Along the way, Tariq gets entangled in the affairs of the cutthroat Tejada family, adding further complications as he tries to balance his drug operations with his education, love life, family affairs, and mounting pressure from Cooper Saxe.

Now coming to the cast, it includes Michael Rainey Jr. as Tariq James St. Patrick, Shane Johnson as Cooper Saxe, Gianni Paolo as Brayden Weston, Melanie Liburd as Caridad – Carrie – Milgram, and Lovell Adams-Gray as Dru Tejada. We can also expect the return of Daniel Bellomy as Ezekiel – Zeke – Cross, Quincy Tyler Bernstine as Tameika Washington, Paige Hurd as Lauren Baldwin, Woody McClain as Lorenzo – Cane – Tejada Jr., and Justin Marcel McManus as Jabari Reynolds.

Power Book II: Ghost Season 3 Release Date

The release date of Power Book II: Ghost Season 3 has not been revealed yet. Since Season 2 premiered in 2021, the third season should premiere in late 2022.
