Created by Steven Knight, See is a science fiction drama series, made for Apple TV+. Knight is also the executive producer alongside Francis Lawrence, Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping and Kristen Campo.

The first season of the series premiered on November 1, 2019 followed by the second season on August 27, 2021. It received mixed reviews from critics and audiences, and currently holds an approval rating of 44% on Rotten Tomatoes. Despite the mixed response, the makers have renewed the series for a third season.

Although the makers have not revealed much, we can expect that in See Season 3, everything that happens is unavoidably contrary to Queen Kane’s desire to gather power and to purge everyone’s world insight, as Baba Voss wants to keep his family together and keep his honor.

The show is basically set in the 21st century, where a virus wiped out most of humanity. Less than two million people survived, and their distant descendants have all lost their sense of sight. The series takes place several centuries later, where society has found new ways to socially interact, build, hunt, and survive without vision.

Talking about the cast, most of the faces from the first two seasons should come back to reprise their roles. This includes Jason Momoa, Sylvia Hoeks, Hera Hilmar, Christian Camargo, Archie Madekwe, Nesta Cooper, Olivia Cheng and Tom Mison. Since it is a new season, we can expect to see some new faces.

The latest season of See premiered in August 2021 and concluded in October 2021. The series was renewed for a third season in June 2021 and the makers have recently confirmed that the third season will premiere in 2022.

The new season is confirmed to have eight episodes like the first two seasons. The series is produced by Quaker Moving Pictures, Chernin Entertainment, Endeavor Content and Nebula Star.
