Star Trek: Lower Decks is an American comedy-drama adult animated series. Created by Mike McMahan, the series was based on Star Trek by Gene Roddenberry. The show premiered first on August 6, 2020, on CBS All Access, followed by the second season on August 12, 2021, on Paramount+.

The first season of the show has an approval rating of 67% on Rotten tomatoes, whereas the second season holds a rating of 100%. Following the decent response, the series was renewed for the third season, ordered in April 2021, which will premiere soon and fans are equally excited for the same.

Star Trek: Lower Decks Season 3 Release Date

The season is scheduled to premiere on the streaming service Paramount+ in the third quarter of 2022, and run for 10 episodes.

Like other Paramount+ Star Trek series, each episode of the season will be broadcast in Canada by Bell Media on the same day as the Paramount+ release, on the specialty channels CTV Sci-Fi Channel (English) and Z (French) before streaming on Crave.

Amazon Prime Video has the streaming rights for the series in several territories, including Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and India.

Star Trek: Lower Decks Plot and Cast

Boimler has problems on the USS Titan in season 2 of ‘Star Trek: Lower Decks,’ and swiftly departs to the USS Cerritos after duplicating himself, with another Boimler staying on Titan.
