Sucker for Love: Date to Die For will be a sequel to Sucker for Love: First Date, which was released in 2022. The game would focus on a woman named Stardust who enters her hometown of Sacramen-cho after getting a cryptic letter from her late parents. However, she meets some cultists who have already taken over the area.

The developers are reportedly blending a lot of things by paying tribute to 90s anime and classic dating sims. Players have to travel through the forests and fight for survival which would be changing into a love story featuring Rhok’zan. This love story is going to be something unique where Rhok’Zan realizes that winning over the acolyte won’t be an easy task.

The game would be focusing on the marginalized portions of the society and Stardust already refers to an asexual woman of color who is not motivated by love so easily. Players would be spotted in a different form and they can easily take down the enemies with the help of a simple spray bottle.
