Developed by Sheryl J. Anderson, Sweet Magnolias is an American romantic drama streaming television series. It is based on the Sweet Magnolias novels by Sherryl Woods. The executive producers of the show are Sherryl Woods, Sheryl J. Anderson, and Dan Paulson.
The series premiered on Netflix on May 19, 2020. In July 2020, the series was renewed for a second season. The 10-episode second season premiered on February 4, 2022. In May 2022, the series was renewed for a third season.

Sweet Magnolias Plot and Cast
Sweet Magnolias Season 3 will be picking up the torch from where its predecessor left off. Season 2 ends with Cal being taken away in cuffs and Maddie, Helen, and Dana Sue mourning the demise of Miss Frances.
Not only that, but we also know that Helen had to pass through a rough phase in season 2, considering the tragedies she had to suffer, ending with Ryan’s proposal to her. Sweet Magnolias Season 3 will unveil what decision she takes.
Sheryl J. Anderson, in an interview with TVLine, hinted at the possible return of Victoria and other ‘troublemakers’. Not only that but when in conversation with Glamour, she said, “I hope the main question that everybody has at the end of season two is: Are they going to get a season three?”
Sweet Magnolias Season 3’s lead cast is expected to be the same as before, with stars Brooke Elliott, JoAnna Garcia Swisher, and Heather Headley in their respective roles.
Sweet Magnolias Season 3 Release Date
The first season of the show was released in 2020 and it received very positive response from the audiences. Later the show got renewed for a second season and arrived on February 4, 2022.
In May 2022, the show got renewed for a third season, which is scheduled to release on July 20, 2023. The show is produced by Daniel L. Paulson Productions.
