The Boys is not just another saga of superheroes saving lives blazing through the storms and saving the day. It’s on the contrary.
The Boys is set in a universe where superpowered individuals are owned by powerful corporations. The role of corporates is to monetize off the power they hold. Most superheroes are arrogant and corrupt.

The show revolves around two groups, Vought International’s premier superhero team(The Seven), and the titular Boys(The Boys), vigilantes looking to keep the corrupted heroes under control.
The series is led by Billy Butcher, who despises all superpowered people, and The Seven is led by the egotistical and unstable Homelander.
Hughie Campbell is just an average guy with a normal girlfriend and a regular job. Things changed when a superhero from The Seven brutally murders Hughie’s girlfriend. In a meeting with Billy Butcher, Hughie starts to question if his girlfriend’s death was an accident, which gives rise to, The Boys, a group dedicated to exposing the dark side of The Seven.

Release Date
Luckily, the current pandemic doesn’t have an effect on the release of the season. The show wrapped up it’s shooting for the season last year. Although there’s no official date, the show is most probably to arrive as scheduled in mid-2020 which can be anytime now.
The news regarding completion of series was provided by Karl Urban who portrays vigilante Billy the Butcher.
