Developed by Eric Kripke for Amazon Prime Video, The Boys is an American black comedy action superhero drama television series. It is based on the comic book of the same name by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, which DC Comics originally published was premiered on July 26, 2019.
The second season of the series premiered on September 4, 2020, followed by the third season on June 3, 2022. The series has received critical acclaim for its writing, storyline, humor, and the performances of the cast, In June 2022, the series was renewed for a fourth season.

The Boys Season 4 Plot and Cast
The Boys was renewed for a fourth season after the release of Season 3 and so, there is no information on what would happen in Season 4. However, it will continue from where Season 3 ended.
A lot of things happened towards the end of Season 3 and Season 4 might bring more twists. A few more characters might get killed, adding a scope for new characters. But time will tell what might happen in the new season.
Now coming to the cast, it inches Karl Urban as William “Billy” Butcher, Jack Quaid as Hugh “Hughie” Campbell Jr., Antony Starr as John / Homelander, Erin Moriarty as Annie January / Starlight, Dominique McElligott as Maggie Shaw / Queen Maeve, Jessie T. Usher as Reggie Franklin, and others.
The Boys Season 4 Release Date
The Boys Season 3 was released in June last year and ended on July the same year. The producers confirmed a fourth season after the release of Season 3 and so the makers have not revealed a release date until now.
Because Season 4 is not confirmed to be the final season, it might include eight episodes like the first three seasons. The rest of the details have not been disclosed. Meanwhile, the SAG-AFTRA strike has added more trouble and further details will be revealed only after the end of the strike.
