The Come Up: Plot and Cast
The series revolves around six young radicals who come to light from downtown New York to make their dreams turn into reality and pursue their admired art form on their own terms. They are a bunch of ambitious and action-oriented New Yorkers who thrive in their respective fields and are giving their all to advance their career. The creative NYC underground provides viewers with a unique and exclusive glance at how the upcoming generation, aka, the Gen-Z of icons build themselves and how they create a culture. Beware for their vibe is extremely infectious and it may cause the viewers to redefine success as how they frame it to be.
The cast of The Come Up includes Claude Shwartz (She/Her), Fernando Casablancas (He/They), Ben Hard (He/Him), Ebon Trower (She/Her), Taofeek Abijako (He/Him), and Sophia Wilson (She/Her), all as self. Casablancas (aged 24) is a non-binary model-performer, Abijako (aged 24) is a young fashion designer, Wilson (aged 22) is a photographer, Trower (aged 23) is a nightlife personality, and Shawrtz (aged 24) and Hard (aged 23) are actors.
The Come Up: Release Date
The Come Up releases on September 13, 2022, Tuesday, on Freeform. The first four episodes will be made available on the day of the release, following which each week will air two fresh episodes. Viewers can stream the released episodes a day after on Hulu.
