Created by Matt Williams, The Conners is a television sitcom made for ABC and a direct sequel to Roseanne. Tom Werner, Tony Hernandez, Sara Gilbert, Dave Caplan, Bruce Rasmussen, and Bruce Helford are the executive producers of the show.
The first season of the series premiered on October 26, 2018, followed by the second season on September 24, 2019. The third season was released on October 21, 2020, and the fourth was released on September 22, 2021. The makers have already renewed the series for a fifth season.

The Conners Season 6 Release Date
The latest season of The Conners premiered in September 2021 and it was renewed for a fifth season in May 2022. The makers have confirmed that the fifth season is scheduled to premiere on September 21, 2022.
The number of episodes for the upcoming season is not confirmed as it has been different in the first four seasons. The series is produced by Mohawk Productions, Sara + Tom, Gilbert TV, Jax Media, and Werner Entertainment.
The Conners Plot and Cast
Although the developers have not revealed much about the plot of The Conners Season 5, it will continue from where the fourth season ended.
The basic premise follows the Conners, a working-class family struggling to get by on modest household incomes. After the death of the original show’s lead character Roseanne, they are forced to face the daily struggles of life in the fictional mid-state exurb of Lanford, Illinois in a way they never have before.
Coming to the cast, we should get to see John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf, Sara Gilbert, Lecy Goranson, Michael Fishman, Emma Kenney, Ames McNamara, and Jayden Ray. Since it is a new season, we can expect to see some new faces and the rest of the details shall be revealed in the next few months.
