The Curse is an American comedy television series. Created by the writers Nathan Fielder and Benny Safdie, the series will debut on Showtime.
Fielder and Safdie are also the executive producers alongside Osh Safdie, Emma Stone, and Ravi Nandan with their production companies Elara Pictures, Fruit Tree Productions, and A24. There is no word yet on who will direct episodes of “The Curse,” nor do they mention the distributor of the show.

In December 2020, Deadline reported Showtime had greenlit the series, The Curse. They have not confirmed yet how many episodes have been ordered for the half-hour series.
The release date of the series has not been confirmed yet. For now, we can expect it to release in late 2023.
The Curse Plot and Cast
Per Deadline’s December 2020 report, the new series is a “genre-bending comedy” that shows “how an alleged curse disturbs the relationship of a newly married couple as they try to conceive a child while co-starring on their problematic new HGTV show.”
In a truly dark and comedic twist, the name of the couple’s home makeover show is called “Flipanthropy.” Now, there’s no word on what exactly this curse entails or how it enters the lives of this couple.
Now talking about the cast, it includes Oscar winner Emma Stone who is also the executive producer. We will also get to see Nathan Fielder and Benny Safdie who are creators, writers, and executive producers of the series.
