Disney+ has been home to some of the most popular and successful TV shows in recent years. Among those, is Star Wars’ The Mandalorian, which is coming back with a third season. The Mandalorian season 2 arrived in October 2020. But the third season hasn’t arrived as fast as fans wanted. They also haven’t been left without Star Wars content either. While viewers wait for The Mandalorian season 3, Star Wars fans got the chance to meet the elite group of clone troopers Clone Force 99 in the animated series The Bad Batch.
The Mandalorian Season 3: Cast and Plot!
Pedro Pascal will reprise his role as the lead character The Mandalorian/Din Djarin in the third season. It is unknown if Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen will reprise their roles as Boba Fett and Fennec Shand, respectively, after The Book of Boba Fett.
The Mandalorian season two’s finale gave us some big hints as to what we might expect from season three, with the most notable being the break-up of the series’ central duo.
At the end of the episode Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) arrives to take Grogu/Baby Yoda for training, and after an emotional farewell (which saw Mando take his helmet off) Din is left standing alone, The Child taken to an unknown future.
The Book of Boba Fett continued Din Djarin’s story as we caught up with him returning to his life as a bounty hunter and evading soldiers of the New Republic.
Returning to a hideout for Mandalorians, the Armorer inspected the Darksaber before Paz Vizla fought Djarin for it and lost.
Djarin was forced to leave, after it was discovered he had revealed his face beneath his helmet. While it is violating a sacred tenet of Mandalorian culture.

The Mandalorian season three has been subject to all sorts of production and release date rumors. It will probably release in late 2022. The new season is currently filming after beginning around October 2021. Also, it would probably last until March 2022.
