Created by Jack Burditt, The Santa Clauses is an American Christmas comedy television series. It is first streaming on Disney+. The show based on The Santa Clause film series. It serves as a sequel to The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause (2006).

Jack Burditt, Tim Allen, Jason Winer, Jon Radler, Rick Messina, Richard Baker, Kevin Hench are the executive producers of the series. The first season was premiered on November 16, 2022. The Santa Clauses was renewed for a second season in December 2022.

The Santa Clauses Season 2 plot and cast

The series premise Scott Calvin is on the brink of his 65th birthday and realizing that he can’t be Santa forever. He’s starting to lose a step in his Santa duties, and more importantly, he’s got a family who could benefit from a life in the normal world, especially his teenage son and daughter.

The second season follows in order to cover up for Santa’s absence at the North Pole, Third-in-Command Elf Curtis makes a plastic duplicate of Santa. This doppelganger begins to think for itself, devouring the entire Santa Rule Book and deciding that ALL children belong on the “Naughty List” and should all receive only coal in their stockings.

Coming to the cast members of upcoming season includes Tim Allen as Scott Calvin/Santa Elizabeth Mitchell as Mrs. Claus/Carol, Elizabeth Allen-Dick as Sandra Calvin Claus, Austin Kane as Cal Calvin Claus, Devin Bright as Noel, Eric Stonestreet as Magnus Antas/Mad Santa,  and many others.

The Santa Clauses Season 2 Release Date

The first season of the show was released on November 16, 2022 and it has consisted of six episodes in total. In December 2022, the show has been renewed for a second season.

The developers have recently announced that the upcoming season is set to release on December 13, 2023. The second season is set to air on the same platform as before.
