Inspired by the 1988 series of the same title, The Wonder Years is an American coming-of-age comedy television series. It is developed by Saladin K. Patterson that premiered on ABC on September 22, 2021.

K. Patterson is also the executive producer alongside Lee Daniels, Marc Velez, and Fred Savage. The series received a positive response from critics. Considering that, the makers have renewed the show for a second season.

In the recent episodes of the first season of The Wonder Years, we have seen that Brad works through his nerves and prepares for his bar mitzvah speech. After that, Dean ends his friendship with Keisa at the time when Charlene tells him that he can not be friends with other girls.

Later, at the time when Dean loses his position as first chair saxophone in the school band, Bill lays the pressure on him to earn it back. On the other side, the plan Dean to ask Keisa to the Valentine’s Day Dance gets foiled at the time when another boy asks her out first; Lillian, as well as Bill, makes Kim sign up for a Big Sister program to have extracurricular activities for her college applications. Let’s see what happens next.

The expected cast of The Wonder Years Season 2 includes Elisha “EJ” Williams, Dule Hill, Saycon Sengbloh, Laura Kariuki, Amari O’Neil, Julian Lerner, Milan Ray, Allen Maldonado, Charity Jordan, Richard Gant, and Spence Moore II.

ABC renewed the series for a second season but the release date of The Wonder Years Season 2 has not been announced yet. We can expect the second season of the series in late 2022 or early 2023.

No announcement has been made about the number of episodes in the second season of The Wonder Years. We expect that the second season of The Wonder Years will also include a total of 15 episodes like the first season.
