Vienna Blood Season 3: Release Date, Trailer and more!
Written by Stephen Thompson and based on The Liebermann novels by Frank Tallis, Vienna Blood is a psychological thriller, produced for BBC Two. The show is being produced by Endor Productions and MR Film.
The first season of the series premiered on November 18, 2019, followed by the second season on December 10, 2021. The series has received mixed reviews from critics and currently holds an approval rating of 53% on Rotten Tomatoes. The show was renewed for a third season in February 2022.

Vienna Blood Plot and Cast
The makers of Vienna Blood have not revealed the plot details for the third season. Further details are expected to be announced in the next few months.
The show is set in Vienna, Austria in the 1900s. It is based on the Liebermann novels by Frank Tallis. The series focuses on Max Liebermann, a doctor and student of Sigmund Freud, who assists Police Detective Oskar Rheinhardt. They provide psychological insights into the subjects’ motives, they investigate disturbing murders with success. A continuing sub-theme is the growing anti-Semitism against the Liebermann family.
The lead cast members of the first two seasons are expected to reprise their roles in Season 3. This includes Matthew Beard, Jurgen Maurer, Luise von Finckh, Amelia Bullmore and Conleth Hill. There is a possibility that Charlene McKenna, Oliver Stokowski, Raphael von Bargen, Simon Hatzl, Josef Ellers, Harald Windisch, Luis Aue, Ulrich Noethen, Michael Niavarani, Ursula Strauss, Johannes Krisch and Kathrin Beck might return to reprise their roles.
Vienna Blood Season 3 Release Date
The second season premiered on December 2021 and the show was renewed for a third season in February 2022. Considering that, Vienna Blood Season 3 should premiere sometime in 2023.
The new season should consist of three episodes like the first two seasons. The developers might announce any further changes in the upcoming season in the next few months.
