Developed by Sue Tenney, Virgin River is an American romantic drama streaming television series. It is based on the Virgin River novels by Robyn Carr. The executive producers of the show are Robyn Carr, Christopher E. Perry, Sue Tenney, Roma Roth, and Jocelyn Freid.

The first season premiered on Netflix on December 6, 2019. In September 2021, the series was renewed for the fourth and fifth seasons. The fourth season released on July 20, 2022.

Virgin River Season 6 Plot

The makers of Virgin River have not revealed a lot of details about the plot of Season 6. It is expected to continue from Season 5 will end and for now, it is hard to predict what might happen in Season 6 since Season 5 is not released yet. Everything will be dependent on the ending of Season 5.

The basic premise follows Melinda “Mel” Monroe, who answers an ad to work as a midwife and nurse practitioner in the remote Northern California town of Virgin River, thinking it will be the perfect place to start fresh and leave her painful memories behind. But she soon discovers that small-town living isn’t quite as simple as she expected. She must learn to heal herself before she can truly make the Virgin River her home.

Virgin River Season 6 Release Date And Cast

The makers have renewed Virgin River for the sixth season on May 17, 2023, but the release date is yet to be confirmed. It is also expected that Season 6 will also have 12 episodes just like Season 4 but an official announcement is yet to be confirmed.

The developers have recently announced the official release date for season 5, which is scheduled to arrive on September 7, 2023. The series is produced by Reel World Management.
