Welcome to Blumhouse: Plot and Cast
Welcome to Blumhouse is a collection of eight horror movies to be released on Amazon Prime Video. Blumhouse Productions has previously given birth to hits like Get Out, Paranormal Activity, Insidious and Happy Death Day. This collection of films is expected to be promising, so let’s find out more about them!
All of the films will be thematically connected, mostly around love and family. There will also be a focus on redemption and destruction. “The Lie” is a movie about a teenager who kills her best friend, while her parents spin lies to keep her safe.
“Black Box” is about a single father who recently lost his wife. He starts to question reality when he takes part in an experimental treatment. “Nocturne” is about a girl at a music academy who discovers the notebook of a dead girl. She soon begins to improve better than her twin sister, which makes the latter jealous.
Finally, “Evil Eye” is about a woman who tries to investigate her daughter’s boyfriend. She feels that he is somehow related to her past. The cast is highly lauded and includes Joey King, Peter Sarsgaard, Mamoudou Athie, Sarita Choudhury, Amanda Christine and Mireille Enos.
