What can we expect from the Season 8 of ‘The Blacklist’ ?

Spoiler Alert!

The American crime thriller TV-web series The Blacklist brought some huge changes this time to season 7, which is a cue to more drama and action in the next season. The show introduced animation and various plot twists, kind of a shock to the fans but also uncannily satisfying. The seventh season was premiered on NBC on October 4, 2019, with a total of 19 episodes.

The shooting was cut short because of our unwanted guest, and hence, a much shorter number of episodes. The post-production was severely compromised, therefore, the show-runners decided to shift to animation, saving the show from its massive downfall. A previs company knows as Proof, known for its work in Spiderman: Far from Home and Logan, slided as the philanthropic and took over the show and showed their magic. Now the question is, whether the animation will continue to the next season and change the total pattern of the series.

The fans were taken aback when Dom regained his consciousness and pushed the show towards some enigmatic, concrete drama. He lost his conscious and went to coma upon getting shot during the firefight with Katarina’s people. This can be a lead that Dom might spice things up in the next season, since with the passing away of Dennehy, the fans are looking up to the NBC and what twists it might bring to the show.

We also got to witness some changes in Elizabeth’s heart and mind and things took a U-turn. Even though Red saved Liz countless times, but she in return, got him executed. It seems her love is fading gradually, and a subtle, silent war might take between them.

Red’s health got deteriorated and suffered hugely in the finale, even though we know nothing about the illness. We hope that the eighth season might reveal what is troubling him so bad. Also, it’s high time we get to know the actual background and history of Red. This mystery still remains unsolved.

We don’t know yet when season 8 is returning, maybe later in 2020 or in 2021, so till then, we need to wait. So, why not binge-watch the previous seasons and note and spot the details we missed?
