Created by Mark Leveson, and Dan Patterson, “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” also commonly known as “Whose line?” or “WLIIA” is an American improvisational comedy television show hosted by Drew Carey that aired on ABC and ABC Family from August 5, 1998, to December 15, 2007. It is an adaptation of the British show of the same name.
The show, hosted by Aisha Tyler, was revived and started airing on The CW, on July 16, 2013.
Aisha Tyler hosts this skit comedy show where the actors on the show do different scenes, songs, comedy skits. It’s all extempore and made up on the spot.
The series features Ryan Stiles, Colin Mochrie, and Wayne Brady as its regular performers with the fourth seat occupied by a guest panelist.
SEASON 17 DETAILS:
In May 2020, it was announced that “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” would air a new season in January 2021 with a set of six episodes. The new season, as announced on 29 October, premiered on Friday, January 8, 2021, on The CW at 8 P.M.
