Bungie Studios: Destiny 2 and Upcoming Project

Bungie is an American Video game developer. Marathon and Myth were two first games of the studios. The headquarters of the company is in Washington, USA. Microsoft acquired Bungie in 2000. Activision and Bungie came together in 2010 in a ten-year deal. In 2014 Destiny a first-person shooter was their first project together. Destiny 2 is the last game from the studios in 2017. Halo, Oni, Myth, Marathon are some other games by Bungie studios. Different games are available on different platforms. Earlier games were available for Classic Mac OS then for Microsoft windows and Xbox 360. The game was also available for PlayStation and stadia.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light

Beyond Light is the eight major expansion of Destiny 2. You can join your guardian fellows and bring down the empire. Beyond Light introduces a new Story Campaign and a patrol zone on Europa, with a new raid set in the Deep Stone Crypt. One other known addition is the new elemental type: Stasis which comes with three new subclasses that will have customizable skill trees. A new power is born out of the ancient Pyramid Ship. The game is set in Europa. The player has to built their new Empire on the icy moon Europa. Uncover the secrets that lie deep under the ancient ice. New power Stasis will also emerge along with the new threats. Totans, warlocks, and hunters each use Stasis in a different way. Stasis fields to encasing enemies with destructive might.

The Europa has treasures in ice and darkness. Beneath the ruins lie countless relics, an arsenal of weapons, and more. The game is available on Playstation 4 and Xbox One. A version for Microsoft also came later. Beyond Light introduces a new Story Campaign and a patrol zone on Europe, with a new raid set in the Deep Stone Crypt.

More details of Destiny 2

Beyond Light will be launching for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on September 22, 2020. Bungie has also confirmed that Destiny 2 and all of its expansions will be coming to PS5  and Xbox Series X, with free upgrades available for existing owners of the game on respective consoles. One other known addition is the new elemental type: Stasis, which comes with three new subclasses. Players assume the role of a Guardian, protectors of Earth’s last safe city. Destiny 2 features a more optimal way of matchmaking called “Guided Games”, which allows players to search for clans who may need additional players for activities. Upon reaching the character EXP level cap, character progression shifts to improving their “Power” level.

Many Power weapons, such as most shotguns, single-shot grenade launchers, and most sniper rifles, being reorganized into Kinetic and Energy weapons slots. Beyond Light will be followed by two additional expansions known as The Witch Queen (2021) and Lightfall (2022). We have three different editions of the game available for purchase.

Editions

The deluxe edition includes Ghost Shell and legendary emblem. A full year of seasonal context that complies four-season total beginning with Season 12. It also has a stranger’s weapon pack Exotic pulse rifle and stranger’s upgrade pack. Standard Edition plus season gives access to current season pass content. Stranger’s weapon pack along with exotic catalysts. A light collector’s edition is also available for purchase. This edition will include the Beyond Light Deluxe Edition, plus a die-cast, mysterious logbook, and other discoveries from Europa will also include in this edition of the game.

New Projects by Bungie

The studio is set for more Destiny 2 expansions and a free to play version. The deal of Bungie is now over with Activision. Bungie will continue to release more parts of the Destiny game series. Rumors were that Destiny 3 will release by 2022. But recently Bungie confirmed a release of the game which is other than Destiny. CEO Pete Parson said that the company will launch a new game by 2025. The aim of the company is to become one of the world’s best entertainment companies. As of now the declaration of the game is not official. We have no poster, teaser or any announcement on the nondestiny project. The new game can be called ” Matter”.

As of now, the game is in very early development phase. Bungie is hiring workers to work on the non Destiny project. The game can be a Comedic game with lighthearted and whimsical characters. Bungie secured $100 million in funding from Chinese publishers to begin work on its new nondestiny project.
