Enola Holmes: Release Date, Cast, and Updates!

Directed by Harry Bradbeer and written by Jack Thorne, Enola Holmes is an upcoming Netflix Original Mystery Movie which is based on Nancy Springer’s novel Elona Holmes. For the fans of Sherlock Holmes, this movie is a feast for it focuses on the adventures of Sherlock Holmes’ younger sibling Enola. This film is going to be a perfect unification of mystery and adventure while dealing with the lives of the detective family, set in 19th Century England.

Release Date and Trailer of Enola Holmes:

Enola Holmes is all set to be released on 23rd Of September 2020. On the 17th of August, Netflix dropped a short teaser across its Social Media accounts. Netflix has also released a poster with the release date on it. The trailer is yet to come out.

However, Millie Bobby Brown (Enola Holmes)updated her Instagram with a post about the trailer release.

The plot of Enola Holmes:

“While searching for her missing mother, intrepid teen Enola uses her sleuthing skills to outsmart big brother Sherlock and help a runaway lord”, a short synopsis of Enola Holmes provided by Netflix.

Set in England 1884, the story centers around Enola, the sixteen-year-old sibling of Sherlock and Mycroft Holmes. One morning she wakes up to find that her mother is missing. Her brothers try to send her off to “finishing school for proper young ladies”, she revolts against it and runs away. She sets out on her adventure and unravels several mysteries.

The Cast of Enola Holmes: Who is in it?

The cast seems quite promising: Millie Bobby Brown as Enola Holmes well known for her roles in Stranger things and Modern Family, Henry Cavill as Sherlock Holmes known for Man of Steel and The Witcher, Sam Claflin as Mycroft Holmes who appeared in The Hunger Games films and Me Before You, Helena Bonham Carter as Eudora Holmes critically acclaimed for her role in The Crown, The King’s Speech, Alice In Wonderland and Les Miserables.
