The Age of Empires might have made its debut over 20 years ago, but interest remains high as to when and when the fourth installment will be released. Yet there is no official word on when the highly anticipated game would unveil. Some rumors suggest that it might be relatively soon.
Age of Empires is a series of ancient strategy games that were initially created by Ensemble Studios and distributed by Xbox Game Studios. The first game, Age of Empires, was launched in 1997. A total of eight games had been released within the franchise.
Release Date
Microsoft revealed on 21 August 2017 Age of Empires IV created by Relic Entertainment. On June 11, 2019, Phil Spencer, stated that the Age of Empires IV was still under development, with more details coming later in 2019. On November 14, 2019, the Age of Empires IV gameplay teaser was revealed at the XO19 event. It showed an ancient war between the English and Mongolian forces. The launch of the Age of Empires IV is expected to be in 2021.
The previous Age of Empire games was dominated by a single period in history. That has made the middle ages their desired period. However, the Age of Empires 4 gameplay seems to suggest an adventure through a time where several different civilizations are reappearing. It’s not sure whether it’s going to be two armies of various periods battling each other or a solitary storyline journey.
Players are likely to lead a historic nation or civilization to income and victory by gathering resources, constructing new systems and innovations, competing to dominate other nearby civilizations, and progressing through ages. Apart from new gameplay attributes, players can probably expect new and improved cultures to choose from.
Although the Age of Empires is known for its large narrative campaigns. It has been reported that the new installment will feature smaller games that players can complete in a timely fashion.
