Hellboy Web of Wyrd: Release Date, Gameplay, and Trailer!
Developed by British studio Upstream Arcade, Hellboy Web of Wyrd is an upcoming third-person beat ’em up roguelike video game published by Good Shepherd Entertainment. Hellboy Web of Wyrd is inspired by the main comic book series of Dark Horse Comics. The game was first revealed at The Game Awards last year. The development team collaborated with Mignola for the narrative and it also marks the last performance of Lance Reddick.

Hellboy Web of Wyrd Gameplay
Web of Wyrd is going to feature different elements from other games and players are eagerly waiting for the release of the game. Hellboy will be able to chain physical attacks alongside ranged attacks leading to combos. Hellboy and a lot of enemies would get protection from Toughness which refers to a recharging element that will work as a shield for all of them so that they don’t get permanently damaged.
In case Hellboy is attacked multiple times leading to more damage, he can launch a different kind of attack called Payback which would let him put more damage to the enemies standing near him. The player would need to explore all the places occasionally and Hellboy also needs to enter the Butterfly House which has a lot of doors inside leading to a separate dimension called The Wyrd. He then needs to find a BPRD agent who has been missing for a long time. Butterfly House will work as a hub area for the main player and all the levels in the game will be created with separate procedures.

The developers are set to release the video game on October 4, 2023, for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
