Who is ready for some fast and furious action on the streets? Well, I hope we don’t experience it in real life, because that’s dangerous, and you should always follow traffic laws, kids. You heard me right: the latest one is called F9 and it will be the fastest and most furious movie in the series. Well, hopefully. Will it be worth watching? When does it come out? Read more to find out!
F9: Plot and Cast
The movie is a sequel to The Fate of The Furious and tells the story of the now retired Dominic Toretto who struggles to protect his family against a deadly assassin. Turns out, the deadly assassin is Toretto’s own younger brother, Jakob. Jakob Toretto, played by wrestler, TV presenter and actor, John Cena, is a trained master thief, high performance driver as well as assassin. He is currently working for Dom’s old enemy Cipher, who was played by Charlize Theron.
Dominic had retired from his criminal and street racing career and was now living with his wife Letty and son Brian Marcos. Vin Diesel plays Dom Toretto, as always, while Michelle Rodriguez plays Letty Ortiz. Tyrese Gibson reprises his role as Roman Pearce and Chris “Ludacris” Bridges plays Tej Parker.
Jordana Brewster plays Mia Toretto, the wife of Brian O’Connor and sister to Dominic. Brian O’Connor, played by the late Paul Walker, was retired as a character after the actor’s accidental death. Sung Kang also reprises his role as Han Lue, Dominic’s crew member who was taught to have been killed. Nathalie Emmanuel plays Ramsey, a member of Dom’s team while Helen Mirren plays Magdalene Shaw.
