The Woman In The Window is an upcoming American psychological thriller film which is based on a novel of the same name by A. J. Finn. Joe Wright directed the film while Tracy Letts wrote the screenplay. Scott Rudin, Eli Bush, and Anthony Katagas produced the film while 20th Century Studios, Fox 2000 Pictures and Scott Rudin Productions served as the production companies for the film.
The film is about a woman with agoraphobia who is also a psychologist named Dr. Anna Fox. She meets a woman across the street from her brown street condo in New York City who she proceeds to become friends with. However, one day, the woman suddenly disappears and in unraveling the mysteries of her disappearance, Anna finds herself unraveling too.
Amy Adams plays Dr. Anna Fox while Gary Oldman plays Alistair Russell. Anthony Mackie plays Edward ‘Ed’ Fox while Fred Hechinger plays Ethan Russell. Wyatt Russell plays David Winters while Brian Tyree Henry plays Detective Little. Finally, Jennifer Jason Leigh plays Jane Russell while Julianne Moore plays Jane.
