Last standing man is an American sitcom created by Jack Burditt, originally telecasted on ABC network. The show casts Tim Allen as Mike, a married father of three daughters and grandfather of his eldest daughter’s son. Viewers can enjoy a burst of fun laughter with their families and see Mike take charge of his house.
The cast of the show
The show casts Tim Allen as Michael Martin “Mike” Baxter, a married father of three daughters. Vanessa Baxter is played by Nancy Travis who is a geologist and later becomes a high school teacher. Alexandra Krosney and Amanda Fuller as Kristin Beth Baxter, the oldest daughter in season 1 and season 2 till the present respectively. Molly Ephraim and Molly McCook aka Mandy Baxter, The fashionista middle daughter in season 1- season 6 and season 7 till the present respectively. Kaitlyn Dever as Eve Baxter, the youngest and favorite child of the three.
Season and Episodes
Last Man Standing has 9 seasons with a minimum of 18 episodes in each season. The first season was aired on October 11, 2011, on ABC. Season 1- Season 6 was aired by ABC network after which the network decided to cancel the new season to be aired. The show’s new season was revived by Fox in 2018 till the present. Last season 8 was aired on January 2, 2020.
Latest Season and episodes
The new season 9 will be released on January 3, 2021, on Fox with 21 episodes. The viewers of the show are excited about the brand new season!
Ratings, Award, and Nominations
The Show has done exceptionally well by becoming the second most-watched series in 2016-17. The ratings have been steady till then. The show won ASCAP Award for Top Television Series in 2014 and then again in 2015. The show has been nominated twice for Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding-multi camera Picture Editing for comedy series.
The recent nomination for the Emmy award was in 2017.
