Created by American author Leigh Bardugo, Shadow and Bone premiered on April 23, 2021. The series was renewed for a second season, also consisting of eight episodes. Season 2 will release on Netflix in December 2022.

Shadow and Bone Season 2: Plot and Cast

Shadow and Bone is based on the story of young Alina Starkov, an orphan and cartographer of the Ravka nation’s First Army, as she discovers she is a Grisha, one with special gifts, and one long-awaited to address a dire need in the universe.

The first season adapts Shadow and Bone and along with an original story featuring the Crows, a criminal gang for which the eponymous ideology is named. The second season will adapt Siege and Storm, and another original storyline featuring the Crows.

In the upcoming season, Alina and Mal will likely be on the run from the Darkling, who will want revenge and Alina’s power. The Crows will be summoned for one of the biggest heists in history. We’re also going to meet some new and important characters in the new season.

The main cast includes Jessie Mei Li as Alina Starkov, Archie Renaux as Mayen Mal Oretsev, Freddy Carter as Kaz Brekker, Amita Suman as Inej Ghafa and Kit Young as Jesper Fahey.

We will also get to see Ben Barnes as General Aleksander Kirigan – The Darkling, Zoe Wanamaker as Bagheera, Lewis Tan as Tolya Yul-Bataar, Patrick Gibson as Nikolai Lantsov, Anna Leong Brophy as Tamar Kir-Bataar and others.

Shadow and Bone Season 2: Release Date

Shadow and Bone Season 2 is all set to be released in December 2022. However, an exact date has not been revealed yet.

The series will be available for streaming on Netflix. Those who want to watch the show can purchase a Netflix subscription which is available at a rate of Rs. 149 to Rs. 649.
