Birdgirl Season 2: Release Date, Plot and more!

Created by Michael Ouwelen and Erik Richter, Birdgirl is an American adult animated superhero comedy television series. It is a spin-off of the television series Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law. which itself was a comedic spin-off of the original 1967 Birdman cartoon.

The series premiered on Adult Swim on April 5, 2021. On October 4, 2021, Kether Donohue, the voice of Gillian, posted on Instagram that Birdgirl had been renewed for a second season. This was confirmed on February 9, 2022. Season 2 will premiere in Summer 2022.

Birdgirl Plot and Cast

In each episode, Birdgirl faces a new challenge. In the first instance, he compiles a group of rag tags of people who help him repair the damage done by Sebben & Sebben in the past. While they can bring perpetrators to justice, they also solve the problem of what their new products are made of.

In the final episode of the first season, we see that Judy is dealing with music by taking her nose out of someone else’s business. He also deals with the effects of one of his father’s machines. If the series is updated with Season 2 of Birdgirl, we will see Judy / Birdgirl continue to save the planet with help from her disqualification team.

Coming to the cast, we might get to see Pager Brewster, Rob Delaney, Sonia Denis, Kether Donohue, John Doman, Negin Farsad, Tony Hale and River L. Ramirez returning to offer the voice for their respective characters from Season 1.

Birdgirl Season 2 Release Date

The first season made its way in the year 2021. And with the team working on the project and also a confirmation that the show is returning. We are hoping and believing that the season renewal might make its way in 2022. However, any official date has not been announced as of yet.

The show is will be aired on Adult Swim. It is an adult-oriented nighttime programming block of Cartoon Network, and it is programmed by its production studio, Williams Street. It is available only in the United States.
