Severance Season 2: Release Date, Plot and more!
Created by Dan Erickson, Severance is a science fiction psychological thriller series made for Apple TV+. Erickson is also the executive producer alongside Ben Stiller, Nicholas Weinstock, Jackie Cohn, Mark Friedman, Andrew Colville, Chris Black and John Cameron.
The first season of the series premiered on February 18, 2022 and received positive reviews from critics and audiences. It currently holds an approval rating of 98% on Rotten Tomatoes. Considering the positive response, the makers have renewed the series for a second season.

Severance Plot and Cast
Although the makers have not revealed much about what would happen in Severance Season 2, it will definitely continue from where Season 1 ended.
The basic premise focuses on a sinister technology corporation, Lumon Industries, which uses a “severance” medical procedure to separate the non-work memories of some of their employees from their work memories. One severed employee, Mark, gradually uncovers a web of conspiracy from both sides of the division.
Coming to the cast, the leads of the first season are expected to reprise their roles. This includes Adam Scott, Zach Cherry, Britt Lower, Tramell Tillman, Jen Tullock, Dichen Lachman, Michael Chernus, John Turturro, Christopher Walken and Patricia Arquette. Since it is a new season, we can expect to see some new faces.
Severance Season 2 Release Date
The first season of Severance was released in February 2022 and it was renewed for a second season in April 2022. Considering that, Season 2 should premiere sometime in 2023.
The upcoming season might consist of nine episodes like the first season. It is produced by Red Hour Productions and Endeavor Content and distributed by Apple Inc.
