Every one of us has a secret wish to travel around the world. When a show is dedicated to traveling, why would it not increase viewership 10x? Such is the case of The Grand Tour. Three successful seasons are already up and now is the time for a new season. The Grand Tour Season 4 is titled The Grand Tour Presents. The season also has a subtitle: Seamen. One episode has been streamed already. What do you find in The Grand Tour Season 4 Episode 2? Scroll down to find out.

A pause in The Grand Tour Season 4 journey

The current pandemic has put a stop board to the production of almost all series and movies around the world. The Grand Tour Season 4 is not an exception. With the World Health Organisation’s strict guidelines on international travel, the series has stopped abruptly. However, in a recent tweet, one of the hosts of The Grand Tour, Jeremy Clarkson has said, “ The second special is pretty much ready to go.” He answered a query from a viewer on Twitter.

Meanwhile, the executive producer Andy Wilman is worrying that he cannot edit any episode. Clarkson also expresses his concern over two specials being delayed. When asked about the production part of the second episode, Clarkson says that the episode is almost ready to be streamed. It is 94% done.

What’s there in The Grand Tour Season 4 Episode 2?

Clarkson has revealed the destinations of Episode 2. It starts on the beautiful island of La Reunion and ends in Madagascar. The fact that the episodes are shot in islands proves the subtitle-Seamen. In an interview with DriveTribe, Clarkson says that they need a 2 to 3 weeks time frame to let Amazon stream the next part.

Till now, there is only one episode on the producer’s streaming platform Amazon Prime Video. The new special part’s theme is still unclear. But Jeremy says, “ We started on the very same beach that a Scotsman was eaten the other day.”

What is the cast of The Grand Tour Season 4 Episode 2?

The three hosts Jeremy Clarkson, James May, and Richard Hommand continue to take us into their voyages since the beginning of the first season. However, these men are ready to take up their individual shows with The Amazon Prime Video. This will significantly reduce the chances of early release of The Grand Tour Episodes. For Instance, James May is ready for his cook show- Oh Cook!

When is the release?

The new episode will be available on the Amazon platform very soon. But there is no official date of release. The Grand Tour is a worldwide take on motorsports capable of attracting 69% favorable testimonials from Rotten Tomatoes. IMDB has also rated the show giving it a bright 8.7 out of 10.

There are chances that the three men would have been stranded on an island during the filming of the specials. But we don’t have authentic information on the same. It is noteworthy that when the finale of the previous season aired, Jeremy with teary eyes announced that the series is renewed to take specials only format. This entails there is no need for studio, track, or challenges.

Producing specials requires fewer episodes only because of a lot of time and effort involved. Traveling to faraway lands is expensive. Taking the entire crew and carrying all pieces of equipment are also costly. Combined with the current pandemic situation, these factors further delay the release of this wonderful show.

However, all seasons are there in Amazon Prime Video. So sit now and enjoy the show.
