SatyarthRemember the times when we were young, stupid and believed in magic? Well, Netflix has found a way to glitter up your nostalgia, and what better way to wake the child in you than being astonished at Magic tricks? You guessed it right! Magic tricks and Humour. Netflix’s show, Magic for Humans, explores real-life settings, where a magician travels to schools, campuses and other places to illustrate simple magic tricks, among a newly found crowd.
After running successfully for two seasons, Netflix announced season 3 of the hit show. The first episode of season 1 aired on August 17, 2018, and the fans instantly liked and accepted the idea that a Magician can also be a comic! (Too much entertainment, right?). The show was picked up for another season, which aired on December 2019. The fans loved and lured even more (guess the tricks actually worked). In less than a month, Justin Willman, on ‘ The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon’, announced a third season of the magical comedy.
What do we get from the trailer?
First of all, it’s Justin Willman being what he’s supposed to be, Funny!, then it’s Justine on an oil station, a book store, a kindergarten, and a Nude Beach (yes, he is going all the way naked for this one, guys!)
Here’s a link to the trailer:
Who is Justin Willman?
Most of us might remember Justin from Food Network’s “Cupcake wars”, CBS’s “Defenders’ or Disney’s “Suite Life on Deck”, but as always, there’s much more to him than just a host or a comic. At a very young, Justin broke both his hands, his surgeon advised him to learn and try simple card tricks. Justine, being a quick learner, became good at those tricks. Gradually, he began performing at birthdays and house parties. Being a good showman, he soon started performing on stage with the name “Justin Kredible” (His mom’s suggestion, pretty catchy, right?).
He was a hit! Justin soon started touring internationally. In 2011, he was called at the White House to perform for the first family. In 2014, Justin collaborated with magicians James Galea, Justin Flom, and Nate Staniforth to form an illusionist performance. It was called ” The world’s first Magic Supergroup” and toured internationally.
Why do we watch “Magic for humans”?
“Magic for humans’, hosted and performed by Justin Willman, entertains us while en living the dark arts. What’s interesting about the show is that Justin’s self-deprecating and nonchalant humor connects with the humane sides of the audience (passers-by and people on random locations) while blowing their unexpecting Brains off. Justin has been heard quoting many times that the show does not use any camera tricks and the tricks performed, are real. For people who want more, sometimes Justin also explains some of his tricks to the audience, so that you can go ” oowwh, so that’s how”. Overall, its a “one of a kind” show with an unnatural, but, a natural vibe.
Here’s a clip, enjoy!
I do not hate people, but I despise their existence. Hi, I’m an actor, writer, poet, visual artist, a man of science and also the least favourite person in my family. Our beloved Hemingway, once said "There is nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed." I believed in this quote humbly, truly and faithfully, now I have Anemia. I hope you like my works and if you do then please tell the President about it (seriously, all we want is fame).
