Law & Order Season 22: Plot and Cast
An official synopsis of Law and Order Season 22 has not been released by NBC to date. The general premise of the series is developed following a two-part approach. Investigating a murder or rather any crime and apprehending a potential suspect by the detectives of the New York City Police Department forms the first half-hour portion of the series. The second part involves the prosecution of the accused by the Office of the Manhattan District Attorney.
The primary cast of Law and Order who will be seen taking up their respective roles in the twenty-second season includes Jeffrey Donovan as Senior Detective Frank Cosgrove, Mehcad Brooks as Junior Detective Jalen Shaw, Camryn Manheim as Lieutenant Kate Dixon, Hugh Dancy as Nolan Price, the Executive Assistant District Attorney, Odelya Halevi as Samantha Maroun, the Assistant District Attorney, and Sam Waterston as District Attorney Jack McCoy. The cast also includes Mariska Hargitay as Captain Olivia Benson, Kelli Giddish as Detective Amanda Rollins, Peter Scanavino as Assistant District Attorney Dominick Carisi Jr., Christopher Meloni as Detective Elliot Stabler, and Ainsley Seiger as Detective Jet Slootmaekers.
