Created by Ana de la Reguera, Ana is a Mexican comedy-drama television series. It was premiered on April 20, 2020, on Comedy Central, and streamed on Pattaya for the United States and Puerto Rico.

The series was also made available to all of Latin America and they could access it on Amazon Prime Video on 21 April 2020. In September 2021, the series was renewed for a second and third season.

Ana Plot and Cast

The makers have not revealed anything about the plot of Ana Season 3. It focuses on an aging actress trying to find her place in the world and in Hollywood as she nears her 40s. The lead actress Ana de la Reguera said in a statement that she was really happy to continue sharing this story and that the audience has received it as they expected. She also said that the next two seasons will be a lot of fun.

She thanked ViacomCBS, Amazon Prime Video, and Pattaya for all the trust since the beginning of this project and stated that they have allowed her to grow a lot as a creator and she would be infinitely grateful to them.

In Season 2, Ana will try to keep her sanity and continue to deal with her mother who now lives with her in Los Angeles, while starring in a TV series of bad 90s sitcoms. In the third part of the series, Ana must rebuild her life and regain her credibility as an actress.

Now coming to the cast, the leads include Ana de la Reguera as Ana, Tina Romero as Nena, Paulina Dávila as Chock, Tom Parker as Chic and Carlos Miranda as Papasito.

Ana Season 3 Release Date

Ana Season 2 has not premiered until now and the makers have also not announced an official release date. In case the second season releases in 2022, we can expect Season 3 to premiere by the end of 2023.

The new season is expected to have ten episodes like the first season. However, the developers are yet to reveal further details on the development of the upcoming seasons.
