Chad Season 2: Release Date, Cast and more!
Developed by Nasim Pedrad, Chad is a sitcom, made for TBS. Pedrad is also the executive producer alongside Oly Obst, Rhys Thomas, Hayes Davenport, Rob Rosell and Robert Padnick.
The first season of the series premiered on April 6, 2021 and received positive reviews from critics and audiences. It currently holds an approval rating of 81% on Rotten Tomatoes and considering the positive response, the makers have already renewed the series for a second season.

Chad Plot and Cast
The makers have not revealed much about the plot of Chad Season 2. However, the second season is expected to continue from where the first season ended.
In Season 2, the lead character will deal with a scandal ending his presidency and has a new love interest. He is also visited by his Iranian grandmother while he gets worried about his popularity and finds new ways to relate to his Persian cultural roots.
Chad’s road to teenage self-realization is not always a straight line, but the support from his family and best friend Peter keeps him on track. It gives him confidence to become who he always wanted to be – the most American boy in the history of the world.
Talking about the cast, the leads of Season 1 are expected to reprise their roles. This includes Nasim Pedrad, Jake Ryan, Saba Homayoon, Paul Chahidi, Ella Mika and Alexa Loo.
Chad Season 2 Release Date
The first season of Chad was released in April 2021 and it was renewed for a second season the following month. The makers have officially confirmed that the second season is scheduled to premiere in summer 2022, although a specific date is yet to be revealed.
The new season might consist of eight episodes like the first season, although an official confirmation is awaited. The series is produced by Shawdi Productions, Nomadic Pictures and 3 Arts Entertainment.
