Written by Jason Filardi and Peter Filardi, Chapelwaite is an American horror television series based on the short story “Jerusalem’s Lot” by American writer Stephen King. Jason and Peter are also the executive producers of the show along with Donald De Line.

The first season of the show premiered on August 22, 2021, on Epix in the United States and on CTV Sci-Fi Channel in Canada. In India, it is streaming on SonyLIV. The series holds an approval rating of 63% on Rotten Tomatoes. Despite the mixed response, the makers have renewed the show for a second season.

Chapelwaite Plot and Cast

Season 1 of Chapelwaite is set somewhere in the 1850s, and for Season 2, we would love to see not more than 25-30 years jump if it happens.

Also, in the first season, we were only this close to watching the world turn to the vision Charles saw. There was only human flesh laying all around.

The cast members we can expect to see in the next season include Adrien Brody, Emily Hampshire, Jennifer Ens, Sirena Gulamgaus, Ian Ho, Eric Peterson, Christopher Heyerdahl, Julian Richings, Steven McCarthy, and Gord Rand.

Chapelwaite Season 2 Release Date

The first season of the show was released on August 22, 2021 and it has consisted of ten episodes in total. Later the show got renewed for a second season, which is scheduled to arrive on October 15, 2023.

However, the makers have not revealed any specific release date for the second season so far. We can expect it to come out in a few months.
