It is confirmed for now that the premise would be set in France in the year 1356.
The world is struggling with the Hundred Years’ War and the world is supposed to collapse soon in between the ongoing conflict and spreading of the Black Plague. The gamers would portray the role of the head of a family and he or she needs to fight the enemy factions alongside trying to take down the evil that has affected different sections of society. The evil has now changed to a mysterious cult and things have taken a worse turn.
The gamers are going to have a castle which will serve as the main hub for them and he or she will get to recruit, equip and train soldiers to confront the enemies and protect the population. The reveal trailer has also revealed some glimpses of pre-alpha gameplay footage alongside a few cinematic leading to the main story. Other details related to the gameplay are expected to be revealed once a release date is confirmed by the creators.
