Devil in Ohio is a psychological, satanic thriller suspense television series adapted from Daria Polatin’s book bearing the same name. The book, and hence the upcoming series, is inspired by real-life events. It is a limited series drama executive produced by Polatin, Rachel Miller, and Andrew Wilder. Polatin is also the lead writer and the showrunner of Devil in Ohio. The show is produced by Ian Hay and Jadene Stojak Babcock. Keep reading to know more.

Devil In Ohio: Plot and Cast

Devil in Ohio weaves a story around Dr. Suzanne Mathis, a psychiatrist who brings a patient to her home. Upon being questioned by her fifteen-year-old daughter, Jules Mathis, Suzanne tells her that Mae, the patient, is going to stay with them for a few days. A few days into their house, Mae starts intervening in Jules’ life, eventually ending up wearing her clothes, making a place in her bedroom, competing with her on her per paper, and even flirting with the latter’s crush. Mae seems to be utterly comfortable at the Mathis house and possesses no intention of leaving. Soon after, one day Jules sees a pentagram tattoed on Mae’s back, which she discovers is a symbol of a strange cult located in a nearby town. This makes Jules realize that Mae is a survivor of that cult. The story gains momentum as the cult rises to attempt all that is possible for them to acquire Mae back.

Devil In Ohio: Release Date

Devil in Ohio releases on September 2, 2022, Friday, on Netflix. The series consists of eight episodes, each with a run-time of approximately 45 minutes. All the episodes will be available to stream from the very day of the release.
