Dollface is an American comedy streaming television series created by Jordan Weiss that premiered on November 15, 2019, on Hulu. And in January 2020, Hulu renewed the series for a second season. This season is set to be released on February 11, 2022. 

Dollface: Casts and Plot!

The show stars Kat Dennings, Brenda Song, Shay Mitchell, and Esther Povitsky.

Kat Dennings portrays Jules Wiley, a woman who works as a web designer at a wellness company called Woöm. Brenda Song as Madison Maxwell, a PR expert and Jules’ best friend from college. Shay Mitchell as Stella Cole, Jules’ other best friend from college. Esther Povitsky as Izzy Levine, one of Jules’ co-workers at Woöm who becomes friends with her.

On the Season 2 casting front, Jayson Blair (Good Trouble) will recur as a new love interest for Povitsky’s Izzy; former late-night host Lilly Singh will recur as a queer bar owner who becomes involved (personally and professionally) with Mitchell’s Stella; Corinne Foxx (Beat Shazam) will recur as the enigmatic daughter of a music industry mogul who reappears from the girls’ past and strikes up a whirlwind friendship with Song’s Madison, and Luke Cook (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) will fill an undisclosed recurring guest star role.

The series follows a young woman’s journey through life. After being dumped by her longtime boyfriend, she must deal with her own imagination. She needs to enter the world of women and rekindle the female friendships she left behind.

Hulu’s Dollface is coming for a season 2. And in this season, Jules must now balance keeping their group together as the women navigate work, love, and a deeper relationship with each of themselves.

In January 2020, they ordered season 2. However, the production didn’t start due to the pandemic. Now, Hulu has announced, Season 2 will release all 10 of its episodes on Friday, Feb. 11, 2022.
