Search Party is just an American satirical dark comedy thriller TV series developed by Sarah-Violet Bliss, Charles Rogers, and Michael Showalter. Set mainly in New York City, the series follows a group of friends who are interested in the search for a missing young woman and the events that result from their involvement.

TBS debuted its first season on November 21, 2016, and its second season on November 19, 2017. After being renewed for the third season in 2018, the series was confirmed to switch to WarnerMedia’s HBO Max subscription channel. The third season was released on June 25, 2020, and then the fourth season was also ordered.

Search Party plot:

Search Party shows the lives of New York City native Dory Sief, her timid boyfriend Drew Gardner, the flamboyant exhibit Elliott Goss, and the soaring actress Portia Davenport. Serving as a complement to the party is Dory’s ex-boyfriend Julian Marcus, a journalist whose outspoken attitude sometimes places him in confrontation with others.

The first season centres on the death of Dory’s college friend Chantal Witherbottom, whom she sets out to figure out, with Drew, Elliott, and Portia reluctantly joining her investigation. Though her friends are all struggling with problems in their own lives, Dory insists on her search of Chantal, thinking that she is in danger.

Search Party Season 4 cast:

This show will see Alia Shawkat as Dory Sief who is a lifelong doormat, who is stuck as the personal assistant to a rich housewife. John Reynolds will be seen as Drew Gardner who’s character is a sweet, spoon-fed doofus, who has spent his whole life a little too sheltered. John Early will depict Elliott Goss, a Gay and hipper than thou. Elliott is a self-diagnosed narcissist, who still finds it in his heart to help find Chantal.

Search Party Season 4 Release Date:

Search Party Season 4 debuts on HBO Max on 14 January 2021, with the first three episodes of the season. After January 14, the 10-episode comedy-thriller season begins with three more episodes reaching HBO Max on January 21 and the remaining four episodes rounding up the season on January 28.
